The Blobfish arguably one of the worlds ugliest and interesting looking fish is facing extinction.
Usually found at the furthest depths of the ocean were they tend to float against their own volition awaiting food to pass them – they are hardly ever seen by human beings. However due to a high demand in deep sea fishing, crab and lobster and other even more exotic creatures, the fish are dying out.
The animals keep getting caught on fishermens lines which usually ends up with the creature dying. Subsequently their numbers have plummeted in recent years and they are now facing extinction. Let’s hope that someone can do something to stop this.
